From Cultivating Creativity to Bringing On a Learning Revolution

I have followed Sir Ken Robinson for a few years when he presented at TED in 2006 on the topic Schools Kill Creativity, it is worth watching the 19 minute presentation.  In 2009 he published a thought provoking book titled The ElementHow Finding Your Passion Changes Everything which made one of my top five books in 2009.  You can see this list here.  This week, Blueprint Education Board member Kevin Donaldson introduced us to yet another compelling TED Talk by Robinson: Bring on the learning revolution! and wrote an interesting blog on Education Innovation and provides additional resources focused on learning & education evolution.

Take 16 minutes to view Robinson’s latest on a “poignant, funny presentation on making the case for a radical shift from standardized schools to personalized learning – creating conditions where kids’ natural talents can flourish.”  I will be interested to hear your comments.
